Oh Boy, Pt. 2

November 16, 2020 - Week 1 - Hurst, TX Meine gute! Meine woke war sehr krass!(es tut mir leid, meine grammatik ist nicht gut.)   Lots of things have been going on this week, so let's get tacklin  1. I have my first Comp and trainer! Elder Stoker is real cool dude, he's from Utah as well, and for the lehi district, he loves to go hunting, but above all he loves to go fishing. It's been a sort of discouraging week cause we have had 4 planned lessons and all of them were canceled. Other than that I can't wait to teach my first lesson on the restoration. Elder Stoker and I in front of our area. 2. I was assigned to my first area which is the Hurst 1st area. It's a biking area and I'm lovin it(hehe)(McDonalds)(es tut mir leid I didn't mean to do that.) The apartments were staying in are super cool, on the first day I was here we ran into a guy named Paul who lived across from us and had a long discussion and tried to bash with us on what we believed(so..

Ready or Not (Texas) Here I Come!

November 3, 2020 - Home MTC Week 5 Meine Gute!!     This week has been Krass! The biggest thing to note is probably, that next time you hear from me, I'll be typin from Texas! That's right, I'll be flyin out from Utah for two years as of next Tuesday! I am hopeful that I will be heading for Germany soon, but until then, I am happy to serve the lord wherever I am needed! The Best District!(Lehi for life!)(Do you guys also think they should make a new district movie?)     There was a lot that happened this week, one of the greatest things that happened was that I was able to hang out with My good friends the Blodgetts and the Greenes up the canyon! I have always loved Utah's Mountains and I think that is one of the things I am going to miss but I was happy to be able to have an awesome time roasting and cooking Woofem's by the fire.(That's right Auto Correct, I meant Woofem's)(If your not sure what a Woofem is your missing out one some pretty good joy.)(Send

4 down 2 to go

October 27, 2020 - Home MTC Week 4 Hallo Alles!       Yep you read right! I only have two more weeks of MTC! some of you know elder Larson but his quote stuck out to me the most this past week. "The weeks feel like days and the days feel like weeks."       There has been a lot of news going around about Germany and the Berlin mission right now but I think the most trustworthy part of it all is I have received information that my Visa is being processed! So good stuff is happening! I am supposed to get my flight plans to Texas here pretty soon , so I'll let y'all know!(See what I did there?) Fun fact: most of us actually study in the same room with the same lighting and same computer quality and everything!        1.Quotes:    These last couple weeks the sisters in our district have made it quite clear that we as a district need to watch what we say, because what we say may just be recorded down for posterity,(As passive aggressive as it sounds that's not actually

Were Half way there! OOOOOOOHHHHHHHH I love sayin Prayers!

October 20, 2020 - Home MTC Week 3  Y'all like my remix? (practicing my Texan)        How are you guys doing! This week has been a huge adventure, so much has been going on, and yet as I'm writing this I am struggling to remember everything I want to write. Let's get into it!        As far as German goes the language is coming along well! yesterday we started teaching Daniel(TRC) and as we were teaching him I was impressed by how much I was able to understand, every time a lesson comes I can get pretty stressed right beforehand, I'm sure this is going to change as I teach more lessons, but it didn't change the fact that I was freaked out at teaching a new person. It has impressed me more and more about how much I have been able to feel the spirit these past 3 weeks. I've told a couple people this already but at the beginning of online MTC, I wasn't sure that it would work out. I couldn't imagine a situation where the spirit could be felt over a Zoom call

Truckloads of Cap'n Crunch!

October 13, 2020 - Home MTC Week 2 Was ein Woche! Have you ever felt like a week went by but felt more like a dream? I'll get to that later.      This week officially marks the 2nd week of my MTC experience, but it is entering the third week of learning, which means that by the end of this week I'll have gotten halfway through MTC! (I know, none of that made sense to me either.)(I'm not jumping ahead, I promise I'll wait to make my "Halfway through MTC Announcement on the next one.)  My typical HMTC breakfast(Danke Sister Blodgett!)(apparently the MTC goes through truckloads of this stuff)(and it makes sense!)     There were a lot of things that happened this week, We recently started teaching lessons Auf Deutsch! I could not be happier to be learning such an awesome language, although it has been frustrating trying to communicate when you feel so restricted God has always found a way to get across what you want to, for the longest while before my missio

OK, Here We Go!

October 6, 2020 - Home MTC Week 1  So much to say!    This week has been a rollercoaster Learning, Emotions, the spirit, the language, and like 10 other things, but for the sake of sparing you about 10 hours of reading my innermost thoughts, I figured it would be best to give you the rundown. ( I apologize, This might be a little longer than you or I expected:D) My Companions    1. A little bit about my day and the people I hang out with. some of you may know I have been taking Home MTC but I am taking it from the Preston, England MTC. This means that all of my teachers are from England and that all of my classes are a little weird. I start my day at a pretty regular time for a missionary, getting up at 5:30 so I have enough time to be ready for class at 7. The biggest difference is I only have an hour break and then I start my(Would technically be called) Evening classes, or at least that's what it is for my teachers.    Speaking of my teachers, They are Awesome! (Not just because
